Mental Health

We offer mental health, family advocacy, and the alcohol and drug abuse prevention and treatment program, or ADAPT.

  • Mental Health: We offer Individual and group counseling, psychiatric testing, briefings, stress management, suicide and violence prevention training, commander-directed evaluations, security clearance, Limited Privilege Suicide Protection, or LPSP, program, suicide prevention and after hours on call via command post. For all MHA/PHA appointments, please contact the Family Health Clinic and appointment line.
  • ADAPT: We promote readiness, health and wellness through prevention of substance abuse and help to minimize the negative impact of substance abuse. We provide comprehensive education and treatment to return identified substance abusers to full duty status. Our services include non-clinical education, clinical treatment, command directed and self-referrals.
  • Family Advocacy: Our programs center upon prevention and outreach, treatment, victim advocacy, and research. Family Advocacy Strength-Based Treatment, or FAST, is another voluntary program for couples and families who desire to change destructive patterns of communication. Outreach services are offered through life-skills classes in parenting, relationship enhancement, emotion regulation and resiliency boosting. Treatment services are offered for individuals, couples and families who have experienced maltreatment. Victim advocacy is a program that offers victims of intimate partner violence supportive services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
