The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Walk-In Contraceptive Services

Get all your contraceptive care in one place: the 8th Medical Group.

All beneficiaries are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives, and STI prevention and treatment.

Walk-in contraception appointments are available every Wednesday, 1-3 p.m., and during daily Sick Call hours, 7:30-9:30 a.m.

  • Pregnancy Screening
  • Sexually transmitted infection screening
  • Oral contraception
  • Appointments for all other forms of contraception

How it Works

Check in at the window and notify the staff that you're here for a walk-In contraception appointment. 

Indicate that you are there for contraception. A nurse will see you and provide oral contraception if desired, or help you schedule a follow-up appointment for other forms of contraception.
