Services Provided

Dental care is provided for all active duty personnel assigned to Kunsan Air Base. Dental care for non-active duty personnel is extremely limited.

Specialized treatments are available on a limited basis and include:

• Endodontics
• Prosthodontics
• Periodontics
• Oral Surgery

How to Make an Appointment

Annual dental examinations may be scheduled for active duty personnel through their unit health monitor. Follow-up appointments are made at the time of the dental exam or by calling us.

Sick Call

Sick call is available to personnel by call-in or walk-in Monday through Friday at 8:00 a.m.

After Hours

For after-hours dental emergencies and pain management needs call the on-call cell at 010-8500-6839.

Important Information

Dental Coverage

Dental care for non-active duty personnel is extremely limited. Family members of active duty service members are strongly encouraged to enroll in the TRICARE Dental Program.

Retirees and their family members encouraged to enroll a dental plan offered through the Federal Employees Vision and Dental Insurance Program (FEDVIP).

Records

For in-processing, if you hand-carried your record, please bring them to us upon arrival. For out-processing, please provide two copies of orders no earlier than five duty days before your final-out appointment.

Dental Options Outside of Military Dental Clinics

For dental care outside of a military dental clinic, TRICARE offers dental coverage for service members, families and survivors. Additionally, retired service members, their families and certain survivors may qualify to purchase dental coverage through the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.
